What happens to the balance if my card is lost or stolen?

The UpTogether card is set up to be used as a gift card. Because of this, UpTogether cannot replace any money spent while a physical or virtual card is lost or stolen. Unauthorized charges will have to be disputed directly with the vendor.

If your UpTogether card is lost or stolen, protecting the funds on the Prepaid Card is your responsibility.

  • Physical Card: Please cancel the card immediately and request a new card on your dashboard.
  • Virtual Card: If the phone containing your card information is lost or stolen, you must contact the phone app company to cancel the card.

Once the card is canceled, you will be issued a new card with any remaining balance.
