When you apply

Can I self-certify that I'm experiencing hardship?

Self-certification is a personal statement explaining the financial hardship you are currently experiencing.

It is important to note that most relief funds do not accept self-certification of hardship.

In cases where self-certification is allowed or required, a form to fill out will be provided as part of the application process. Do not submit a hand-written letter, as it will not be accepted.
