One option that partners have when working with UpTogether to create a fund is to set up a ‘code fund’.
Instead of a traditional fund where applicants can apply via a URL, code funds allow the partners to disperse funds to individuals and families in the area that they connect with in order to control who has access to a fund and subsequent payments. The codes themselves are 8 characters each (i.e. UTCF2131) and are sent to the partner via an UpTogether representative.
‘Codes’ in a code fund can only be used once. Once partners receive their codes, they are responsible for keeping track of who has received them and whether they have been utilized. For more information on tracking codes, you can visit this page.

Please note: Due to the specific agreements we have with our respective national and local partners, the UpTogether Support team can not issue invitation codes to enroll in funds. The codes are generally distributed by entities or organizations throughout the country and vary based on the purpose and location of the fund. As a result, being an active member of your local community can often heighten your awareness of opportunities near you. To increase your chances of receiving an invite code, or perhaps be invited to participate in a fund that does not require an invite code, we also recommend that you sign-in regularly to keep your UpTogether profile up-to-date and engage in the secure, online UpTogether Community. Doing so allows us to send you notifications when UpTogether funds become available in your area.
