To set up your bank transfer in your Virtual Wallet, follow these steps:
Click on the “Go to your Virtual Wallet” button.
If you are on your phone, click on “Actions.”
After the "Actions" button reads "Feed," you will then scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the purple buttons and click “Manage banks”
This will prompt a page asking you to add your bank. Read it and then click “Get Started.” (Please have your online bank information ready before proceeding).
Before you begin adding your bank information, you will be prompted to link your phone number with a code sent to your phone. Click on “Verify” after the code that was sent to you has been entered.
Click “Link another account” and search for your bank of choice. ( Note: our bank may not appear. If this is the case, contact Akimbo at 8554492273)
From here, you must log into your account by entering the username and password of your financial institution. Then click “Submit” and press “OK.”
Once the account has been linked you can return to the “Withdraw” screen, enter the amount you wish to withdraw and check the box next to the account you wish to send it to. (If you receive monthly or frequent payments from UpTogether and want your payment to be recurring to that bank account you’ve added, click the “Make Recurring” button and add the transfer frequency.)
Now click “Next.”
You will then be taken to a review screen with time to edit your choice! If everything looks good, click “Withdraw.”
Congratulations! You have set up a bank transfer! Please know that these transfers take 2-3 business days to arrive in your bank of choice.
